I’m 38. I had surgery on 3 inch fibroids 6 months ago and during surgery they placed the Kyleena IUD to stop heavy bleeding. I’m here for prevention. Ever since my surgery I feel like “what did they do to me?” I have lower belly stretch marks and looser skin when before I had none. I have mild right lower quadrant pain that they “monitor” by just asking at every appointment. And my sex life hasn’t been the same since surgery. I don’t mean to be dramatic but I feel almost sexually traumatized by surgery like sex still makes me panic and it’s painful and I don’t get lubricated (sorry tmi?) 6 months later when I had zero problems with sex before surgery. Today I’m bleeding when I don’t normally at all since the iud, so that’s freaking me out a bit. Any advice would be wonderful. Check out Mayo Clinic website for alternatives to surgery. I have been on a dairy free, gluten free diet for about ten months now. My 10 cm fibroid has started to calcify. Which means it’s dying. As soon as they discovered it was dying, they advised me to have surgery. I looked into HIFU and I decided to try that. However, I am not sure if there’s any point since ‘calcified’ sounds like a solid mass to me so if I plan to have children, I should get surgery anyway. I am 31 years old. I don’t know what to do.

Dissolvong calcified fibroids is really simple- just take apple cider vinegar it will dissolve it, magnesium will mop up the calcium and vitamin D will transport it to the bones. I am testiment to this, as I had a large calcified fibroid that disappeared after 7 weeks when I started to take 1000mg apple cider vinegar supplements- (I found this out quite by accident as I initially started taking ACV to help the liver detoxify and balance hormones).

Hi I am 35 and trying to conceive. I read woman code and try to cycle sync as much as possible. I also seed cycle which I’m not sure is helpful. I have about a half a cup of coffee a day and the habit is hard to break. I have polyps and fibroids and my doctor wants to do a hysteroscopy. I would definitely try to wean off of the coffee by switching to decaf, then moving to black tea, then green tea and then herbal. If you want to get pregnant, you will want to go off of the caffeine in any case. Coming off of the caffeine will help with the issues you are having now as well. Caffeine creates mores stress for the liver, which makes it less effective at eliminating excess estrogen from the body. This effects firboid growth and hormonal balance in the body in general.

I’m 28 and I’ve had IUDs since I was 19. 2 coppers ones, and then a hormonal one which was to replace the copper one they suspected was causing my super heavy, clotted periods. THEN they noticed a small fibroid.
I read woman code and decided to remove my IUD for good after reading that IUDs can cause fertility issues.
I’ve had my first period since removing it and the massive blood clots are back.
I live a pretty clean lifestyle and eat a healthy balanced diet. I did however battle bulimia for a decade which i’m sure caused some serious damage on my hormones.
Looking at this detox, I basically eat this way already, minus the odd treat here and there ( which is helpful for my eating disorder recovery ) I do however drink ALOT of coffee.

I think you meant to say FERMENTED forms of soy are ok. Edamame and tofu are estrogenic. Tempeh, miso, and natto are fermented.

I started to get slight pelvic pain.. It happened 2 days after ovulation. I feel like there is a wiered sensation there..Just very slight discomfort. sometimes a little painful. I feel so terrified. I was eating fenugreek seeds as part of wanting my breasts to become more fuller and larger. Im unsure if some of the phytoestrogens in the fenugreek caused over stimilating effects..I have a good diet and and lots of fruit and vegies but I love my morning cup of coffee and I am now discovering it could be causing my hormones to get out of balance…Im going to try and quit and go to green tea.
