If you’ve recently been diagnosed with uterine fibroids, I’m guessing that right now your doctor has you on the Pill. You’ve been told that this is the only option and just to sit tight, wait, and then, if and when you want to come off the Pill and maybe try for a baby, there was mention of plans for surgery. You feel better, so that all seems okay, right? It’s exactly what a conventional doctor would and should be telling you. The pain and bleeding is gone, so you’re “fixed,” at least for now…
From a functional nutrition standpoint though (that’s my area of expertise) that protocol doesn’t sound all that ideal. There’s a better way forward – no pain, but also no side effect laden pills or invasive surgeries. I know you want short term and long term good health at the same time – relief now and no fertility worries later. And you can have both, if you examine the root cause of your health issues.
You have it in your hands to control whether you develop more fibroids and whether the fibroids that you have become larger and more uncomfortable. Essentially you are able to make choices that will positively impact your current situation and your overall health. If you make changes to your diet and lifestyle you can avoid what’s to come. The work you would need to put in, starting today, to fix this problem is nothing when compared to dealing with the adverse effects of the Pill and invasive surgeries.
A new way to treat uterine fibroids
It seems harmless, I know – just take this Pill and everything will right itself. Unfortunately, the Pill does not stop the growth of fibroids altogether and it actually worsens the underlying hormonal issues that cause this problem. Eventually you’ll want to come off the Pill and the fibroids will grow back and will potentially be more difficult to deal with. The Pill depletes your hormones and nutrients, leaving you in poor health from low immunity to a hampered metabolism. Coming off, this can then create a situation in which a hysterectomy seems like the best choice. Hysterectomy increases cardiovascular risk, among a number of difficult consequences. So, I’m afraid it isn’t all that harmless, even if it does seem to make sense to you and your doctor right now to just stay on the Pill and sit tight.
Your internal ecosystem and genetic predisposition that is creating a fibroid condition will keep doing so until you fix that ecosystem. Just addressing the estrogen excess and dominance alone can help turn this ship around. Unaddressed however, you can’t get free of fibroids.
The good news? You can avoid all of this entirely. So, what do these necessary diet and lifestyle changes involve? Let me tell you. The nice thing is that it can all be accomplished in one elegant and simple solution.
There are 4 essential stages to treating fibroids naturally:
Reduce your
estrogen overload
Improve your
lymphatic drainage
Reduce your
gut inflammation
Improve your
liver function
Finding the heart to take action
You might not know this, but a diagnosis of uterine fibroids means that your daughter is more likely to also develop uterine fibroids once she hits puberty. Try thinking about it from this perspective – what would you do to prevent your child from going through the pain, the heavy bleeding, the backaches and the other ensuing health issues that you have gone through? I’d imagine you’d say – everything and anything possible. I know I would.
I truly believe that we need to treat ourselves like we would treat our own daughters – with the same love, compassion, and care. You in this very moment have the fierce heart of a mother to turn that love into powerful self-care for you!
I meet so many women who say, “If only I had known what was coming, I would have made different choices for myself far earlier in my life.” This is especially true for women who have suffered with fibroids. You can take your health into your own hands and make a difference.
To kickstart this process you need to try my 4 Day Hormone Detox Plan and then ease into the cycle syncing health-style of living in your Flo. Once you get started, it becomes second nature. I know you’d do it for your daughter, but I want you to do it for yourself.
Always remember, that once you have the right information about how your body really works, you can start making health choices that finally start to work for you! You can do this – the science of your body is on your side!
to your FLO,
Alisa

Yes, I have one large fibroid and my doctor (who is an excellent doctor and very helpful with fertility issues) want to remove this one laproscopically this Thursday. I am nervous because I want to have children and don’t want anything to come in the way. It is very nerve wracking to wonder if surgery is in fact, the right answer.

I have fibroids, since this Covid 19 pandemic, I’ve started eating garlic now Ive been bleeding with clots for 5 weeks none stop, does that mean garlic has shrunk fibroids or what I’m going to see a Dr this week.
Hi Teboho,
Fibroids can grow if hormonal balance gets out of whack – you want to speak with your doctor and get some tests to determine the size of the fibroids, and get some blood work done to see if you can find any obvious hormone imbalances – you can refer to my blog post HERE to learn more about which hormones to test for. Make sure you diet is balanced: keep your blood sugar balanced! You can read up on this in my first book WomanCode. It is also important to support your liver – eat lots of dark leafy greens, drink water, and stay away from liver stressing foods like sugar, caffeine and too much red meat.
Alias
Hi Teboho, I was wondering if the Garlic helped you because I also have fibroid and my bleeding is very heavy lead my face is yellow and very pale
Garlic is like a blood thinner. I am bleeding now for 1 1/2 weeks but just found out that coffee isn’t good when having a myoma and stress isn’t good either. Covid stresses me out pretty good. :/
Hi yes I have multiple fibroids but small in size, no heavy menstruation only pelvic pain and side pains
I have fibroids. I found out about them last year. No idea how long I have had them. I have been trying to change my diet and drink 2tbs of apple cider vinegar with water in the mornings
My daughter is 25 yrs old and she was told by her GP about Hypothalamic Amenorrhea? or something Polysistec? She had ultra sound to check it but not seeing the result yet. Her problem is not having period for six months now. In the past, she used to take pills for two years and she gets regular period; once she stop, the period stop as well. Is there anything to reverse or to correct the imbalance of hormones?
Hi Linda,
Yes! There is plenty that your daughter can do! I would recommend doing the WomanCode online program – she will learn how to support her body to heal and recover from this hormonal situation. It is possible!
Alisa
Love your approach.., Will get your book.
I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids in 2009 by my OBGYN and ended up getting a partial hysterectomy in 2011. The worst part is that they put me on Zoladex injections for 6 months before the surgery. My hormones are still a mess since than. Thanks a lot for this information and I WISH I had access to this BEFORE I went under the knife. I am hoping other women will not make the same mistake that I did.
Thanks,
Brigi
I’m reading Woman Code and devouring it! Such great info. I am trying to find information on syncing your cycle if you’ve had a partial hysterectomy but still cycle because you have your ovaries? I’m trying to figure that part out! Thanks anyone for any help you can provide.
Hi Jess! Yes, you should still be cycle syncing your foods and lifestyle. Simply follow the phases to support a regular, healthy cycle. If your cycle is irregular, you want to keep the cycle syncing to a regular 28 day cycle and then just match your diet back up to your body when you get your period. Enjoy!
Alisa
I have unterin fibroids. I recently came off the pill after reading your information, and now I really notice the fibroid issues (super heavy flow). I am 42 and have been a vegetarian for 29 years. I do not eat processed foods. I eat very little gluten (a few times a week), eat very little dairy (occasional cheese that is locally produced with no hormones), and very little sugar. I eat most of the foods recommended for liver cleansing frequently. I also eat fermented foods and take a good pro-biotic. Any advice? Thanks!
Hi there,
So, the question may be if you are getting all of the nutrients that your body needs to be balance! I would explore the protein and possibly fat routes: are you getting enough of the right kinds! The body needs amino acids to be healthy, so finding good sources is critical.
Alisa
I have multiple fibroids for over 10years. They have grown so big,I was having heavy periods & my gynecologist placed me on lupron injections to reduce the size& prepare me for hysterectomy. Though I’m 46years old now,I don’t feel comfortable having the surgery. What do you think I should do?
Someone please help me an always thinking about how to get rid of my fibroids without surgery
Am a vagine and not Yet married and having fibroids is giving me heartache please help is what I want without going through the knife am going through difficult moment
I’m having the same problem, and I’m wondering whether you’ve discovered a solution yet.
I recently stopped eating meat, and I notice my fibroids are reduced.
exposure to sunlight and daily consumption of a lemon palm to reduce stress
To be really honest, I smoke and I intend to stop in order to shrink my fibroid.
I hope that what I’m doing may be helpful to you in finding a suitable answer as well.
Birth control causes fibroids also.
Hi Alisa,
Last year my GYN visit revealed that one of my many fibroids had grown to the size of a 20 weeks fetus. There had been rapid growth over a two year period when I can say definitively that my life was extremely stress filled. My doc stated that I could do nothing or opt to have them removed. At the time I declined intervention but now I am experiencing increased incontinence issues, and I’m tired of walking around with this baggage/pouch. I am considering laparoscopic assisted abdominal myomectomy, as I don’t believe the dietary options will reduce my fibroids significantly. Can you please share your thoughts on using the mentioned procedure. My intention would be to use your diet information and exercise to prevent regrowth of the tumors once removed.
Thanks so much
Hi Elicia,
If the fibroids have grown large enough, removing them is a good option. You do want to have the dietary plan in place before this so that, as you stated, they won’t grow back!
Alisa
Hi Alisa,
I have uterine fibroids. On June 2016 it was 10 cm. I have heavy menstrual bleeding. I don’t want surgical remove fibroids, because it means the removal of the uterus. Is it possible in my situation to shrink fibroids with diet and other non surgical methods?
Any advice? Thanks.
Hi Arven, diet cannot modify your fibroids. However You may want to try Ulipristal. It belongs to the class of medications called selective progesterone receptor modulators. It is used to treat moderate-to-severe signs and symptoms of uterine fibroids in adult women who are in their child-bearing years such as heavy bleeding.. It works by blocking the effect of progesterone on the lining of the uterus while keeping estrogen levels in the normal range. Progesterone is responsible for the development and growth of fibroids, and by blocking this hormone, ulipristal causes fibroids to shrink and become less painful. Heavy menstrual bleeding usually stops within days of starting this medication. I suggest you speak to your doctor about non surgical options and see what might be helpful for you.
Good luck,.
Sydney, How is progesterone responsible for fibroids when a great deal of research states that it is too much estrogen that is responsible for fibroids, that’s is why they don’t grow before menstration and they don’t survive post menopause when estrogen levels are much lower.
A great deal of research states that a woman with fibroids is Estrogen Dominant. Also when I wasn’t put on a synthetic progesterone pill, I was not in control of my mind and emotions, pure rage. I had to stop immediately.
It’s possible progesterone is the cause of fibroids or both of them.i say this because I had a large fibroid and got pregnant with it.thinking that the pregnancy will be affected by the fibroids,I used mifepristone which inhibits progesterone.the pregnancy was terminated.i equally noticed that the fibroid shrunk and for 6 years I had no symptoms.i was equally using nature’s way dim to reduce progesterone levels
Not a regular here but from a first principle’s root this answer cannot be logical. You say diet cannot modify fibroids, yet diet is one of the causative factors in fibroid formation, with some things raising the growth and some not. Adopting a de facto medical line doesn’t grant proof. By the shared root of causation, diet can modify fibroids, perhaps not cure, but a 100% answer in medicine which is based on empiricism is itself fallacious. A proper case study would be to analyze demographic trends of fibroid formation and assess what factors exist in those showing lower development (the Japanese are at a 25% or more lesser rate than the average American woman). Medicines are derived from many things initially dietary, just purer or enhanced forms.
I love your reply. Well said.
Extensive research into asian dietary studies published and in drpth constructs of nutrition trends in the prevelent upswings in medical issues by geographic loc have led me to believe that western diets loaded with preservative derived from soy that are not natural soy, and invade most baby food as well as bread food products, mayonnaise, and feeds fed to animals raised in NON organic grass fed operations as well as chemical irritants like arsenic in midwest rice products, and overloads of soy feed in egg production, and storage made of permeable plastics has improperly swung the inhibition of estrogen progesterone balancing cell relationship to the point that dysfunction in both hormones can exist whilst the benign tumor creates another imbalance by signaling to itself what to absorb. In short, sometimes your best bet is to eat organic iron rich foods so the uterus can appropriately function and discard excess false tissues, but not right after period. Always drink cinnamon tea. Avoid soy lechtin. It’s hard to, but you can do it.
Hi Arven, I have also been in such a dilemma and fortunately for me natural ways worked. I see your post was in 2016 so I dont know what method you chose but I hope it worked out well for you. It does not hurt to inquire about natural methods before going the surgical way.
Hi Purity, do you mind sharing what natural methods worked for you and how they worked? I have a similar situation going on and I want to avoid surgery at all costs.
Hi Purity.
Thanks for your response. What did you use. I have a 13cm, a 6cm and another.
Have you been operated or what did you use? Your response will be extremely helpful my dear. Thanks
I hv diagnosed with uterus fibroid 9.6 and 7.8cms and I’m 44 years old. Please let me know wt to do.
Diagnosed 7.5cm here, 41 yrs old. PURE ORGANIC DIET for the past 6 months. Symptoms got better every month. NO MIDOL for the past 3 months. NO PAIN! I’ll say it again for those in the back, NO PAIN AND NO MORE SYMPTOMS (tender breasts, headaches, nausea, cramping, vomiting, ALL GONE!) Fish Oil, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Flaxseed, and multi-vitamin supplements. Switch to all organic foods, and add these supplements. That’s all I did, and it has been a LIFE CHANGING experience. Every one of you can live a pain free normal life WITHOUT meds and surgery.
Did you eat meat? Thanks
I have uterine fibroids .On june 2016, heavy menstrual bleeding, i don’t want surgical remove fibroids ,because it means the removal of the uterus , is it possible in my
situation to shrink fibroids with died and other non surgical methods? any advice? Thanks.
Hi Alisa,

Just came from doctor and I was diagnosed with fiblods, doctors advised me to remove even uterus if have enough kids,
Hard decision, though am 40 with two kids,
He said they can grow back again,
I am in same situation. What have you done so far? Please help. Thank you
Switch to a pure organic diet. I am 41 with a diagnosed 7.5cm uterine fibroid. I have been pain AND symptom free for 3 months! NO MIDOL, NO HEADACHES, NO NAUSEA, NO VOMITING, NO CRAMPING! Fibroids will grow back as long as you do not change your diet. I don’t consume anything unless it’s organic, and I can’t even believe how much better I feel. It was definitely life changing for me! I just avoided a $50K surgery 🙂
I’m in the same boat here. Switched to a plant-based diet in September 2021 (about 4 months ago) and my symptoms such as clotting, heavy bleeding, painful periods etc. significantly subsided. I have fainted 3 times at work due to intense period pain and today, I can survive my period with bearable pain, max for the 1-2 days at the start, with no pain killers or any other meds at all. Other than my organic plant-based diet, I’m taking iron and vegan D3 vitamin spray once a day. Especially iron has been essential in managing my symptoms as I’ve been suffering from iron deficiency anemia as well.
I am not sure if it’s possible to shrink fibroids with natural treatments but it’s certainly possible to subside the symptoms significantly. Diet is the most important factor! Second is living a stress-free life as much as possible and daily gentle exercising.
Hi Sue,
try adding some evening primrose oil – this can also help with pain. Make sure your B Vits are where they need to be. Keep reading and checking in, let us know how we can support you!
XO – Christina- FLO Coach
Thank you so much for the tip Christina! Will add the evening primrose oil into my diet and check my Vitamin B levels : ) You guys rock!
Hi.
All this info is interesting. Can a operation be avoided? Since turning 40 my periods are extremely irregular. The worst part is they are prolonged, sometimes 2-4 months long!I am now 46 and I became severely anaemic. The doctor referred me as a Emergency to the Gynae ward. They did a USS and they said I have a Fibroid about 26mm. They want to do further investigations internally but I refused, they say its very necessary as they want to find out what is causing my irregular bleeding. Please does anyone know if there another alternative that is not internal.??
I just want to tell those trying to naturally heal of fibriods that these things really work.
i was diagnosed with uncountable fibriods ranging from 4cm . My uterus size was 488cm (normal being 90cm) my doctor said i needed 2 doses of zoladex 10.8mg to reduce my utirine size before my surgrey. I read the size effects of the medication and got scared because I’m a 37 year old married woman and want to start trying for a baby. I don’t want to risk it. First of all I changed my diet completely. no more animal products of any kind except fish. then I started trying the natural remedies taking tumeric and dendelion tea with a table spoon of custard oil first thing in the morning, followed by a mixture of maca, cinnamon and a table spoon of apple cida vinegar an hour later. I also took a juice made with the combination of kale, orange, beetroots, carrots and ginger. Finally I take this brazillian medication called uxi amarelo e unha de gato. I don’t know it’s English name but you can look it up. finally i did the custard oil pack 5 days a week.
to cut long matters short, yesterday I went for an endovaginal ultrasound 3 months after my first diagnoses and i only have 3 fibriods of 37mm, 41mm and 46mm the rest have disappeared and i believe these will also vanish soon.
Hi Hanna,
Reading your post gave me much hope to trea5 my fibroids naturally.
I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids (50 to 100) with the largest the size of a month’s pregnancy.
I recently had an MRI and my Doctor has told me the only option is to have full hysterectomy which means my entire womb/uterus will be removed my Doctor has placed me on Zoladex injection I have only had my first one and the only systom I have is hot flashes and night sweats.
I’m 40yrs married and does not have kids yet, I desire to have kids and removing my uterus is definitely not an option.
I have decided to use natural remedies or herbs to shrink the fibroids.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards
Bee
Hi Bee,
I just saw your text about multiple fibroids. I hope my text is not too late. You really do not have to lose your womb. Th doctors can still save your womb with that number of fibroids if you decide to go for surgery.
Castor oil or casturd oil????
Hi what are the amounts and how often a day do you take them?
Hi Hanna,
I was curious if you have any updates. I’m in the same boat. I would love to discuss the items you have listed and possibly how much of each you were taking. And how long before you saw improvements. Hope you are doing well. 🙂
Thank you for sharing. Much appreciated.
Hi
What exhactly did you use naturally for your fabroids to shrink and dissapear? No surgery
Marcia
Hi Hanna,
I’ve been trying to find the Brazilian medication but I’m only see the tree bark, also is it castor oil or custard oil
I can not find custard oil for nothing! Is that the same like Castrol oil?
It is castor oil packs she meant to type.
Hi Hanna
I am looking for a natural solution because I believe that foods are mainly the cause of fibroids. Thanks for being part of the solution to my problem. I will try your method. Currently doing a 7 day juice fast, now on day 5. Also going to be fully vegan after fast. Been transitioning for a year and it’s been challenging. Thanks again.
Totally my experience, except I didn’t have a chance to go back to take a pelvic ultrasound to check if mine has shrunk at all, but symptoms are almost gone! 100% vouching for this dietary change!
Hi Sue, So glad to hear that you are feeling so much better!!
XO, Christina – FLO Coach
Hello, I was at my doctor recently and I had an ultrasound showing myometrail heterogeneity and uterine Fibroids, she states is probably benien, but wants me to have a full hysterectomy, which i don’t want to have, please let me know what I need to want to shrink them down. Thank you
Hi,
I would go for a second opinion. First, you can start working to shrink the fibroids with this protocol, but you also want to find out how many and how large the fibroids are.
Alisa
Hi, I’ve been having quite a few hotmonal issues and the doctor diagnosed me with early menopause at the age of 36! I would prefer to look at this as a hotmonal imbalance that I can correct with better lifestyle choices. I have also be told I have a small fibroid (outside) of my womb, which I have seen on th scan. I’ve got your book and I have completed the 4 day detox and feel great already. The challenge I have is following the next stage where I sync my diet to my cycle. I’m currently don’t have any periods so I’m unsure how to action this section of the book as I can’t identify my cycle stage….. I really feel that this can make a difference to my life and also help me to conceive so any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks
I’m Janet aged 46 last month I was diagnosed with fibroids the largest 15 CM. I was put on zoladex for three months to shrink the fibroids before surgery. Is there anything I can do because I don’t want surgery I still want a child
Hi Janet,
There are things that you can do to support hormone balance – when hormones are out of balance this can cause exacerbation of issues like fibroids. Please reach out to my team to get support!
Alisa
Hi Alisa, hi Janet, my fibroids are as large as yours. They want to give Lupron shots and then do a partial hysterectomy. I want to avoid surgery. What can I do?
I don’t have any symptoms otherwise. I do look 16 weeks pregnant though.
Can I avoid surgery?
Janet, what is the update with your situation?
Thanks.

Hi,I am having three big fibroids 3 of them are outside of my uterus and some of them are too small and its in my uterus..! Am a little bit confused because am afraid it might come back after removing them..! I never use any medicine concerning this fibroids..am confused and I don’t know what to do if I should remove or I should start a treatment..and the worse thing is I don’t have a baby. Kindly advice
Anneth
Hi Anneth,
The fibroids will grow back if you change nothing in your diet or lifestyle. If your body chemistry remains the same then the environment that allows for the growth of fibroids remains. I would highly recommend that you start by reading my book WomanCode – you will be able to start implementing steps to heal your body and shift the environment in your body. You may still need to remove the fibroids surgically, but you want to have steps in place to improve your chances of them not growing back.
Alisa
I have been diagnosed with fibroids for a year now. I began having irregular periods and a hysterectomy was suggested. I don’t want a hysterectomy but I vebeen bleeding 2weeks after this last period. How can I stop the bleeding?
Hi Pam, It is important to shift the environment inside your body that is allowing the growth to continue – there is no quick fix for this but I have seen women improve their symptoms (and reverse the fibroids) by balancing out the estrogen levels. I recommend that you look closely at what and how you are eating and factors that could be creating more estrogen productions in the body. Additionally, you can support yourself with some liver supporting foods like lots of dark leafy greens, and and supplement like DIM.
Alisa
Red clover capsules will slow your flow or stop it
Wer can i buy ? And can i buy this without the doctor persecution
Hi Heaven. You can get Red Clover capsules from Amazon.
Dear Alisa
I am 42, turning 43 in January 2019. In April 2016 I was told after a ultra-sound that I have many fibroids with one being as big as 21cm and that the only option was a hysterectomy. I bled for a whole 18 months non stop with most of the time it being exceptionally heavy bleeding. Because I do not have Medical Aid and rely on Government Hospitals I did not dare ask to many questions. My question is, can I possibly fall pregnant as I long for at least one baby or is beside the fibroids, my age a big no no???
Please advice
TIA
Samantha
Please can you advice me of any herbal or conservative management to shrink uterine fibroids of 2cm each and 3 of them.,I am 42 years of age and want children! Please advice
Hi Alissa
I have fibroids from long time. I have multiple fibroids out of which two are big. doctor has asked me for surgery as fibroids are blocking ureter and my right kidney is swollen.can i treat this problem or surgery is the only solution. Please help.
Hi Alisa, do you recommend 4-day detox while experiencing irregular bleeding. Not sure when it will stop been going on been going on for two months.
Hi Tal,
It really depends on some other factors as well: are you exhausted? If yes, then cleansing may not be a great idea. But certainly cutting out problematic foods like gluten, sugar, and caffeine could make a world of difference! I would start there.
Alisa
Hi I am Precious

Hi I have been diagnosed with a large intramural fibroid uterus, size of a 20 weeks pregnancy. I am 35 years, no previous pregnancy, got married last year and would like to get pregnant.I have had uterine fibroid embolisation 7 months ago. I have been told that I should forget about ever getting pregnant as hysterectomy is the only option. Is there any other option for me besides surgery?
I had 12cm fibroid, did embolisation and made a zero difference. Now , 2 years later my fibroid is 20cm and the only option is hysterectomy, which I absolutely refuse. I don’t have any symptoms except I look like 5 months pregnant, which I hate. Never had sugar or carbs in my diet and I’m very thin. Looking into a natural remedies now. Green tea, garlic, turmeric and ginger. Please share
I need your help
I just left my consultants office now and he said I have cervical fibroids about 9cm. I am devastated as he said the only option for me is total removal of the uterus. Is there any chance of me not going for surgery? Please help
Hi Sylvie, Please go get a second and maybe even a 3rd opinion! Feel free to reach out to my team as well and schedule a session with one of my coaches.

Can fibroids on the neck of the cervix be treated naturally?
Hi Alisa, I have a fibroids of 2cm inside my uterus and another one in the wall of the uterus. I have been dealing with heavy bleeding, cramps and pain for 5 years already. I want to shrink them so please help me
Hello Alisa,
I was diagnosed of uterine fibroid in November but i seriously don’t want to do a surgery.
Please what can i do to make it shrink and completely disappear?
Thanks
Please, help me.I have been advised to take a surgery as early as possible, before six months or my womb will be affected. I need babies. But, can’t help with the surgery. I need help. Want to treat it naturally.
Hi
I have found that I have a couple of medium size fibroids and other small ones. The doctor is not going to do anything until my symptoms become “severe” and says that the fibroids will shrink after menopause… I am 31 and still planning to have children at some point so waiting and see if my symptoms worsen is not an option for me.
I have tried a couple of times to have access to your 4 day hormones detox plan, but nothing happened after I received confirmation that I would get the emails in the next 4 days.
Is it still a current offer or has it expired?
Thank you
Hi Barbara,
Hmm, that link should be working! Try to access it from a different browser. Also, you can get the cleanse and A LOT more helpful info from my book, WomanCode. You can purchase that or get it from your library!

My question is can a fibroid shrink naturally by breaking down and pass through the vaginal in small pieces mixed in with discharge. I haven’t experience any bleeding just like pink or brown spotting. I’m postmenopausal and I’m trying to shrink mines naturally with brags apple cider vinegar, hemp oil, flaxseed oil, blackstrap molasses, along with other vitamins. Thank You.

A deeply educative and detailed piece, and a courageous one at that!
I think the key here is coming out. Your story will inspire affected ladies to come out and seek a solution to the problem of fibroids.
I am not sure whether it’s taboo or fear that makes people shy away from seeking a medical remedy.
Thanks for this

Hi I have fibroids in my uterus please help how to shrink my fibroids?
Thank you
Thank for the nice article , i am going to do all the steps as suggested. i believe it will shrink my fibroid off.
Fibroids do shrink with the use of herbs mixed with lime. I’m an example, I had four fibroids. I always bled heavily during periods with large blood clots and super pain. While on the herbal medication, I experienced very dull cramping and spotting (brownish stain on my panties). Now the bulge in my left lower abdomen has disappeared already but the physician insists that I go for another scan to be sure. I’ll do that on Saturday. Herbs work 100%!
For those who had fibroid surgery or used medications, I’ll advise that you drink lime juice once in a while. At least once every week, then you can give more space before drinking it as time goes by to prevent the fibroid from growing back.
All the best!
Deola, what kind of herbs do you use and do you mix them in lime juice? Do you make lime juice yourself? I have 2 fibroids and the same issues you have. Do you eat clean diet as well or exercise? Thanks you!
What herbs did you use
Please do you mean lime or lemon? and if lime, please how do you drink it, is it just lime or mix it with something else?
Many thanks
Oh really. Does that really work?
I have been dealing with periods so heavy that have had to resort to wearing attends and a overnight pad and still have to change every hour or I bleed through and have heavy clotting much bigger than a quarter. I had vaginal ultrasound done and they found thickening/enlargement. Several abnormalities. Mass inside my uterus. I have been dealing with this with no help or any physician taking me seriously! Till just recently. Been dealing with this since 2012! I don’t know what they are going to tell me but they are doing a biopsy on Wednesday the 20th.
Hi Margo,
What you are experiencing is common, though not something I would call ‘normal’. You want to look at estrogen production and elimination in the body. Let us know if my team can help! XOXO

Hi
I hv 46 yrs went through ufe
Still hv fibroids how to shrink them naturally
I have fibroid that has grown to 9cm, how can I shrink it naturally without going for operation? Please help me.
A year ago, it was confirmed by ultrasound that I had a fibroid. My dr referred me to a radiologist, who discussed an embolization procedure with me. I’d been struggling with heavy periods and it seemed like a good option. I never followed up with the radiologist because I stopped bleeding altogether for 8 whole months! I thought I was in menopause and I was ecstatic!
Well, January arrived—and Aunt Flo returned with a vengeance—and would not leave! After 7-8 weeks of bleeding, I was feeling poorly & had developed a cough—so I went to see my family dr. Some days my flow was light; some days moderate; & some days so heavy I was soaking thru a heavy duty tampon plus a thick pad every 20-30 min). Not surprisingly, my hemoglobin was low—so I started on iron supplements. My family dr referred me to a gynecologist. While waiting to get in with the gyno, my fam dr prescribed birth control pills. I’ve always had bad experiences with bc pills—but the bleeding had to stop! I had become terribly weak and light-headed. A week ago, I saw the gyno. Today I went back for an ultrasound. No fibroid! Does this mean it disappeared b/c my estrogen has dropped? I was diagnosed with adenomyosis. An endometrial biopsy was also done. Gyno recommends I stay on bc pills just to “bridge the gap” until menopause. I’m 54 1/2 years old —so I have no concerns about future fertility.
I had previously a urgery for fibroids. This time I decided to take more natural approach. I have a prescription for progesteron supplemnent – Orgametril and I used for past 3,5 months herbal complex for utherine fibroids -( 8 herbs i total – day and night drinking warm tea )of Father Klimuszko Polish monk ad herbalist. From a colony of few large ones the biggest 4,5 cm by 3,5 cm I have one size of 2cm left and few very small ones.
Ive signed up twice & no email with detox plan

Ive been diagnosed with one Fibroid 7cm,i need to know if natural herbs can vanish them without damaging my womb since fibroid is in my womb?
I am asking whether to do surgery is the best way to get rid of fibroid , or is there any other better one than surgery
Surgery can be necessary. It also depends on the size of them. I have seen women shrink them with diet and lifestyle changes, however this is not always enough.

I have been diagnosed with uterine fibroids; 4cm. My doctor recommended surgery and im sceptical. Is the a natural alternative to surgery. Im 43 with one child; 15 year old.
You can absolutely follow the recommendations for shrinking the fibroids and for balancing your hormones to see if you are able to avoid surgery. In any case, you want to create an environment in your body that will not allow the fibroids to grow back if you do decide to get the surgery!

I have 3big fibroids, the largest is about 22weeks,all the doctor says is surgery and 100% chance of reoccurrence,am interested in your options

Hi am Temi from Nigeria in Africa I have mutiple
Fibroid… The doctors here suggested surgery but I’m scared they won’t do it right… and they said after the surgery it would grow back … I’m only 23 Nd single
Hi Temi,
Fibroids can grow back of you do nothing to change the hormonal balance in your body. This is the concern with just having them removed and not also making changes to diet and selfcare. Please find out more about how to do this – you can read my book online (WomanCode by Alisa Vitti) – this has a lot of info you can start to use right away to support a healthy endocrine system.

Hi,
I have read all the comments in this thread and can relate to many.
I have also been looking for natural remedies or someone that can recommend what they have tried, that has worked.
9yrs ago I had a fibroid about 8cm which was causing me alot of pain and heavy bleeding. Two o th her small fibroids aswell.
I saw 4 gynacologists who all told me hysterectomy was my only option.
I refused as i was single with no children.(i did suffer the pain for few yrs but glad i didn’t go through with the hysterectomy)
After a while i met a dr who told me she could remove the fibroid with key hole surgery at royal womens hospital.
I had the surgery, she could only remove the large one and had to do a csection. I was fine for many yrs.(unfortunately I wasnt in a good relationship so i didn’t attempt to have a child)
7 years later i was back to the same issues. The two fibroids grew and they came with several friends aswell.
I currently have a 8cm fibroid in the lining and 4 other fibroids in different locations in and out of my uterus ranging in 4-7cm
My uterus is 10 times larger than a normal sized uterus.
Im currently 42.5 yrs old and dont have any children. I have been told that pregnancy will be very difficult if i dont remove the fibroids first.
With my age and biological clock ticking,I am currently on a waiting list for surgery with the hope that they can remove the fibroids without damaging my uterus.
I am an optimist and still have faith. Keen to hear any positive feedback from anyone that has tried something that is working for them or in a similar situation or any recommendations.
Im also keen to find out about this detox and change in diet.
Thanks so much for this amazing article! It is such a relief to know that we dont have to have surgery..
A few years ago, my GYN told me that I have endometriosis, it got progressively painful and severe each month. Then I started to get this watery discharge but when tested, was not an infection of any kind. The doctors were puzzled and told me that it was normal. I had this discharge for about half a year, totally irritating having to change underwear five to seven times a day, etc. The discharge became heavier and more frequent until I got a second opinion and the gyn told me I had a uterine polyp and that was probably causing the discharge. She suggested that it be removed which I did, but to be honest, I have had a few operations in my life but this has to have been the most invasive of all. After the operation though, there was no more endometriosis, and the discharge completely vanished. My periods turned back to normal..and I felt great. But just a month ago, the discharge has returned and so has the endometriosis and the pain. So I guess there is another polyp growing there again. But this time, we will definitely follow what you have said..because just cutting them out doesn’t fix the problem in the first place. And I have polyps growing in other parts of my body too so it makes sense that it is an excess of oestrogen causing it. Thanks so much for this article, it has really helped so much in understanding this challenge and gives hope in fixing it! x
Can it really works taking a diet to shrink fibroids pliz help
Hello,
I recently discovered a large fibroid and was told I need surgery to remove it. I would obviously prefer to get rid of it through diet and lifestyle changes however I have not read anywhere ( on floliving or otherwise) that lifestyle and diet can completely make the fibroid go away – only shrink it. Can you provide some insight in to whether or not lifestyle and diet can completely get rid of it or if will it only shrink it to a certain extent. Thanks!
Please what herbs did you use?
I hear there is non invasive ultrasound procedure. No knife involved. No side effects. Google it please
Pls Hannah the Brazilian Medicine is in which form? I mean ( Uxi Amarelo e unha de gato ) herb, supplement or tea? And how do you take it and for how long ? Please I really need to shrink my fibroid, I still want to have kids and the doctor said I have to do surgery before pregnancy please help my life. Thanks

thanks
Hi Huma, in general you want to avoid breads or products made with flour and focus on grains that you cook in a pot – these are much less processed and contain beneficial nutrients. Once you process the grain it loses many of its beneficial nutrients and remains mainly a carbohydrate/starch.

Hi, the above link to the fibroid detox plan does not work.
Hi There!
Would this advice also work for cervical polyps? Is there a natural solution to this or are they best handled through a procedure?
