Hello there,
I’m just finishing up reading the Women Code and I am super confused. The list of foods you provide in the book is different to these mentioned here. There is some similar foods but in different weeks.
I’m in my first cycle on the women code and it would be great if you could clarify.
Thanks a lot and thank you so much for all your work.
All the best,
Lena
Hi there, I have the same question as Lena – I just finished the great Woman Code and now watched Dr. Oz. I too find it a bit confusing and I am not sure which week corresponds to the week mentioned in the book – is week 1 in Dr. Oz´s show Follicular week in the book?
Would be grateful if you could clarify.
Thank you so much,
Steph
These videos are not available to watch from Australia!… 🙁
I just finished your amazing book and followed the hormone detox …. and also decided that I am going to strive to be a vegetarian. Since doing the process and continuing on it I have already lost three pounds in the last two weeks. I have eaten healthy food for most of my life and with this change my body feels even better.
One thing I would like to bring out about the book is that is didn’t deal hardly at all with menopause. All the ladies that read this book now are eventually going to be there and I think it would be helpful to prepare them for the transition. I write this because I am still experiencing hot flashes and have been for the last 10 years. No matter what I try they just seem to stay with me. Maybe this is another book?
Hi Mazi,
Thanks for your feedback! At this point we have been focusing on the fertile years, and may in the future move into menopause!
For the hot flashes, we want to explore your stress levels and how this could be impacting your hormone levels. This is a PMS symptoms that is frequently mentioned, and is something that we address!
Alisa
Hello Alisa. Your page was recommended to me by a friend and I have just watched your interview with Dr. Oz. No one ever speaks about the texture and flow of the menstrual cycle, so thank you very much for doing it. I have always followed my cycle very carefully. It was very painful in my teens and in my 20s and it has become smoother thanks to belly dancing. After giving birth 5 years ago the quantity has changed and when I suffered from an anxiety disorder, 2,5 years ago, it has become less and not painful at all. In the same period of time I have discovered an increase in TPO thyroid antibodies. The curious thing is that I feel fine before my period and also during it, but when it is over, I feel very tired and have hot flashes, I am bloated and unable to concentrate. I have very little energy once the period is over. This continues until ovulation, but once the ovulation is over, I feel fine again.
The gynecologists I have talked to have said that it is not a problem, as long as the cycle is on time. The quantity was not so important to them.
What do you think could be the reason for less quantity and for feeling so tired after the period, when other women feel at their best?
Thanks in advance for taking your time to answer.
Hi,
I just watched this and got confused. As some people have already commented here the list of foods provided in the book is different to the ones mentioned – some similar foods but in different weeks
Could you please clarify?!
Many thanks
Jo
Please update this and post a video of what color should look like. The links don’t work anymore, and neither does the period health quiz.
